The Maine Nordiques Youth program aims to develop character, good sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork through youth hockey in a family friendly environment.

We are committed to the development of the sport through the improvement of individual player skills, team building and physical and mental training. We will accomplish this by providing qualified, enthusiastic and professional coaching, the most progressive teaching techniques and specialized training
programs.

The Maine Nordiques will foster the will to compete in all of our athletes as well as prepare them to become contributing members of society.

10U: 2013-2014 | 12U: 2011-2012 | 14U: 2009-2010

Season runs September to March.

• 20 Home Games**
• (2) 1.5 hour practices a week
• Selected players will be responsible for the cost of jerseys and socks. (additional $75 for home & away) Jerseys will be the same as the previous year and returning players may use the previous year’s jerseys.
• Additional Tournaments may be determined by the coaching staff of each team and funded through the individual teams.

** Away games are not guaranteed by the Maine Nordiques. Away games are anticipated reciprocal ice with other MEAHA organizations in exchange for our home games. If 20 away games are not played due to Covid or any other circumstances the Maine Nordiques are not liable for the deficit of games.

*** The goal of the Maine Nordiques Youth organization is to roster a Tier 2 MEAHA Team at the U12 and U14 level. However if the selection committee deems it appropriate the team may be entered as a Tier 3 team to ensure competitive play and nourish player development.

We are aware that COVID is still a concern and all of these offerings are based on the ability to participate with all travel and established play. We will try our best to provide all the offerings announced, COVID dependent, for developing youth hockey players in the area.
