The Maine Nordiques Youth program aims to develop character, good sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork through youth hockey in a family friendly environment.
We are committed to the development of hockey through the improvement of individual player skills, team building and physical and mental training. We will accomplish this by providing qualified, enthusiastic and professional coaching, the most progressive teaching techniques and specialized training programs.
The Maine Nordiques will foster the will to compete in all of our athletes as well as prepare them to become contributing members of society.
Is your child ready to play hockey? We’re ready to teach them!
The Maine Nordiques Learn to Play (Mini-Mites) program starts by teaching players the basics of hockey: passing, stick-handling, shooting and skating. More importantly, this program teaches respect, teamwork, responsibility and hard work ethic. Our program aims to build character on and off the ice, a reward that will last much loner than the hockey season.
